Board and Staff (Directory)
HOPE is governed by a Board of Directors. We currently have openings on the Board and would love to speak to anyone who has a passion for therapeutic riding, has time to devote to a Board member’s duties and is willing and able to work as a team to further HOPE’s mission. The Board meets monthly and holds a day-long annual planning retreat each Fall. Reporting to the Board is the Program Director, responsible for day to day operations. The Program Director is responsible for session planning and teaching and volunteer recruitment, training and appreciation. Click here to learn more...
Internships
HOPE always encourages talented individuals with a passion for therapeutic riding to study and become PATH International certified instructors. To that end, we will refer anyone interested to the PATH Intl. requirements. Because one of those requirements is to have 25 hours of conducting EAAT sessions under the supervision of a PATH Intl. certified instructor, we offer interested individuals the opportunity to obtain their teaching hours through our program. Please contact the HOPE Program Director or Head Instructor for further details.
Accountability
HOPE is committed to responsible governance and is always ready to answer questions concerning income, expenditures, programs and policies. HOPE does however follow a strict confidentiality policy regarding our students.  Although instructors need all relevant information to teach properly, our volunteers are not given confidential information about students unless absolutely necessary. Also, all photos and information about students used on our web site, in newsletters, literature and media reports is used with explicit permission.
